From ambition to expansion
A prospect in the Middle East approached Incomec with the ambition to establish rice cake production. While the company had prior manufacturing experience, it had no background in food production. Recognizing strong market potential in the rice cake category, they were determined to seize the opportunity in their homeland.

Following the acquisition of an established potato popped chips brand, our customer faced a significant challenge: the existing production line and facility were outdated. And in need of a complete renovation with a significant increase in capacity. In addition, in-house expertise in compression popping technology was limited.

This brand had a co-manufactured product which it wanted to produce in-house because of its success. The product featured a distinctive ridged shape and a unique ingredient blend of micro-pellets and dried vegetable pulses. A strict requirement was set: the project would only be approved if product parity could be achieved.
